2. Processing of personal data when using construction site cameras
a. Personal data
When using construction site cameras for documentation purposes, the following personal data of yours are processed when you enter the respective recording area:
Video data (time stamp, location, image data)
The images from the site cameras are taken at coarse granularity/resolution and from a great distance, so that neither people nor vehicles can be enlarged and thus easily identified.
A sign situated at the front provides you with the essential information about the video surveillance. The data collected are not used for automated decision-making or profiling. The data processing is not required or prescribed by law or contract. You are not obliged to provide your personal data. However, you are then not allowed to enter the monitored area.
b. Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process the data within the framework of weighing interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) s. 1 lit. f) GDPR for the following purposes:
Documentation of the construction progress
Creation of time-lapse recordings for marketing purposes
If the construction site cameras are also used for surveillance purposes:
Exercise of domiciliary rights
Vandalism and theft prevention
Investigation of criminal offences
For the individual purposes of the construction site cameras, please refer to the information sign at the front of the construction site.
c. Recipients or categories of recipients
The recordings are processed exclusively by authorised internal persons. Other recipients are service providers who are used as instructed within the scope of commissioned processing for the implementation of video surveillance or maintenance and support activities. In the event of a claim or fraud, the recordings may be disclosed to legal advisors representing us or law enforcement agencies as appropriate.
Transfer to a third country or to an international organisation is not planned and does not take place.
d. Storage period and, if applicable, criteria for determining storage period
The storage period of the individual camera images is determined individually depending on the camera and property, limited to the minimum and deleted once the purpose is no longer applicable and after the creation of the time-lapse documentation. The exact storage periods are stated on the information sign at the front.

Art. 15 GDPR: Right to information of the data subject. You have the right to obtain information from us about what personal data we process about you.
