Hamburg, 14 February 2024 - Quantum reaches 12 billion euros in assets under management – despite challenging market conditions. Compared to the previous year, the capital management company ("Quantum Immobilien KVG") increased its property assets under management by around 700 million euros. The focus remains on residential and office properties, supplemented by the asset classes retail, healthcare with Quantum SHI, light industrial and car parks.
The transaction volume in the strongest asset class, residential (45%), totalled around 500 million euros. The acquisition of Wasserstadt Mitte in Berlin, one of the largest transactions in 2023, and the expansion into Denmark with the purchase of the Beckmann Turm & Wilhelm Haus residential ensemble in Copenhagen are worthy of note.
"We are proud to be able to continuously expand our assets under management even in such turbulent market phases. Over the past 25 years, we have proven our ability to seek and find opportunities in challenging times. This spirit of innovation drives us. In 2024, together with our team, we will successfully complete the projects we have started, sustainably optimise our asset management, focus on new European investments and further expand our first international office location in Copenhagen," says Philipp Schmitz-Morkramer, founder and board member of Quantum.
